Our new green steel doors are crafted using bluemint® recycled steel, which has a remarkable 58% lower carbon footprint than conventional steel. In addition to its reduced environmental impact, Bluemint steel retains the same strength, durability, and reliability as our standard steel, ensuring that security is never compromised in the pursuit of sustainability.
How Are Kenfield Green Steel Doors More Sustainable?
The production of green steel is enabled by the use of high-quality recycled iron scrap in the blast furnace. This scrap, which is nearly pure iron after undergoing special processing, replaces part of the traditional iron ore, eliminating the need for coal and significantly reducing CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process.
